MSc in Aquaculture Biotechnology

6 Feb 2012

This exciting and challenging new programme builds on our long-standing world-class portfolio of Masters programmes which are recognised as leading the field.

Aquatic Biotechnology offers huge opportunities for the discovery and manufacture of a wide range of novel and valuable products, including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, vaccines, fuels and also for aquaculture. This one year Masters programme aims to provide hands-on training to equip students with the skills to sustainably unlock the biotechnological potential present within the enormous biodiversity of aquatic environments. Modules will include instruction in modern genetics, genomics, and recombinant DNA, protein and immunological technologies.

Subject to final approval, this new programme will be available from September 2012 and we welcome enquiries now.
