Nairobi fair trade fish meeting
23 Nov 2010
Stirling Aquaculture Manager John Bostock is part of a team assessing the potential for a fairly traded fish product in Africa. John will be joined by Stirling graduate Flavio Corsin, who is now a recognised international expert in the field, and collaborators from other consultancy companies to a workshop taking place in Nairobi this week. The study, funded by the EU ACP fund, will support fish farmers in Africa as part of on-going support from CAPA - the association of the Commercial Aquaculture Producers of Africa. The outputs of the work should help African fish farmers compete more effectively in local, regional and international markets.
